Caring for new concrete

Concrete keeps getting stronger for weeks after it is poured. Follow the times we give you for your job, since they depend on the pour and the weather. As a general guide:

• Walking: keep off it for at least the first day.

• Cars: wait at least a week before driving or parking on it.

• Heavy vehicles: ask us first.

• The first winter: do not use de-icing salt on it. Use sand for grip instead.

• Spills: rinse off oil, fertilizer and wet leaves before they stain.
